What primary photographic style do you identify with?
Contemporary & Photojournalism when capturing moments; we supplement those photos with traditional/posted styles as well.

What do your packages include?
Our packages contains carefully processed High Resolution Images as well as a private online gallery for you to review your photos and share with family and friends.  You always get two photographers (David & Kim).  We have packages that includes Albums, Canvases, SaveTheDates, and other options as well.

Do you offer special post processing such as vintage colors, Black & White, or sepia?
Yes, when we see a photo that can flourish from post processing adjustments we will apply them.  However, our style is based mainly on the “natural” look; so we’ll always deliver the ‘timeless/standard’ color corrected version for every photo.  The ones we apply special post processing, will be included as additional bonus.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
With the top of the line equipment (Best Cameras Canon Makes, the highest quality lenses available, and off-camera light sources). We’ll capture pictures to highlight the natural lighting and capture the ambiance; but will resort to professional looking flash photos when necessary.  We’ve shot over 170 weddings; so we’ve worked with countless different lighting situations.

Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital, there are just SO much more advantages.

How many photographers do you work with?
Myself and My Wife…. We work together at the event and while we edit our work at home. We get along VERY well

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Of course, we are usually there an hour early to make sure we capture as much details about your day as we can.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We NEVER book more than 1 event in a day. During the weekend: if Saturday is a Wedding Day, we may book an Engagement session on Sunday, and vice-versa; we generally do not book two weddings back-to-back.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we know some very creative wedding photographers that owe us many favors; we can call them in a heart beat!

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We always have at least 3 cameras with us on the day of your wedding and a very wide collection of lens.  Our full collection includes: 4 Canon 1Dx’s, Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 Mark II lens, Canon 24-70 f/2.8 Mark II lens, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS Mark II lens, 15mm Fisheye lens, 35L f/1.4, 50L 1.2, 85L f/1.2 II, 135L F/2.0, eight Canon 600EX-RT flash units, over 1.2TB of Compact flash Memory, and Tons of batteries for our cameras and flash units.

We always bring an light stand (for off-camera lighting) which we use to provide dramatic lighting to photos.  When given the space and time to setup, we typically use this during the reception as well as the bride & groom photo session.

We also carry wireless radios with discrete ear pieces so that we (David & Kim) can communicate efficiently and discretely throughout the day (they are good put to 5 mile radius).

Updated: We have JUST added four Canon 1Dx‘s, one Canon 24-70mm F/2.8 Mark II lens, and 8 Canon 600EX-RT Flashes to our equipment lineup!  These cameras SUPER incredible at autofocus, weather it’s in low light or low contrast situation.  It’s also got DUAL memory card slots, so even if one of our memory cards fails (which has never happened), we still have a backup that contains the exact same high quality images.  Lastly, it’s got better low light performance, which means we can capture even more ambient light than before!

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Do you charge hourly or full day?  Are you available to shoot extra hours? How much do you charge for extra hours? Do you charge for travel?
We offer many packages with predefined hours.  Additional hours can be added at a reduced rate based on the packages selected.  There are no charge for travel if you’re within the Bay Area.

Where do you usually shot engagement sessions, do you have recommendations?

What do we need to do after booking with
We want to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible; we need two things from you.  A finalized wedding day schedule, and a list of all the family photos (with 2 designated person to help coordinate).  Please see samples here:

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within 4 Weeks from the day of the Engagement Session, and within 6 Weeks from the day of the Wedding.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Password protected photo gallery on our site.  You can share this link with all your friends and family.  The gallery features includes slide-show mode, rating of photos by comments, the ability to select your favorites and save the list (favorites list typically used to select photos for your engagement or wedding album).  You’re able to purchase prints from our professional printing labs directly from our gallery.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
The online gallery will be guaranteed available for 12 months after your wedding date.  However, we plan to leave them online for as long as stay in business.  All of our packages comes with ALL the pictures in full resolution on USB Drive(s) (we discard the bad/redundant ones, trust us; we will keep nothing away from you… we are here to please you!).

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
You do whatever you want with your full resolution photos (except for commercial uses; simply let us know so we can brag it!).

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, in order to entertain our potential clients; we love to share our current masterpieces and show that we are always on the edge of creativity and style… and also show a steady stream of work.

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.  See the above question: “In what format are the initial proofs offered?”

What kind of albums do you offer?
Professional Quality Albums with contemporary hardcover styles and pages which are printed on seamless Kodak paper.  The pages are nice and thick, these are some of the best albums available.  All Albums are custom designed, we allow unlimited revisions. Please go here to see samples:

When will the client get the final album?
6 weeks after album proofs are approved by you.  Album proofs take about 4 weeks to design by us once you select the photos you’d like to include in your album.
